Unagi and Egg Rice Bowl ウナ玉丼

Preparation time: 15 mins


Half an unagi, cut into bite-sized chunks

1 onion (sliced)

150ml dashi stock

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp mirin

A pinch of sugar

1 egg

200g cooked rice

1 stalk of spring onion

1. Heat up mixture of dashi, soy sauce, mirin and sugar

2. Add onion slices to mixture and cook till soft

3. Add in unagi chunks till it boils

4. Add in beaten egg (cook till preferred consistency)

5. Top with spring onion
