smoked salmon sushi

Philadelphia Roll

Ingredients
  1. Smoked Salmon Slices
  2. Cream cheese
  3. 1 small Cucumber
  4. 1 cup Sushi rice
  5. 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
  6. 2 sheets of Nori
Steps
  1.  Making the sticky sushi rice: Put your cooked short grain sushi rice into a bowl and let it cool slightly
  2. Drizzle rice vinegar onto the rice, fluff and fan the rice till well-coated
  3. Prepare a sheet of nori onto a bamboo mat with plastic wrap
  4. Spread the sushi rice onto the nori sheet (wet your hands or spoon to prevent sticking!)
  5. Place as many strips of salmon slices and cream cheese as you like onto the rice and arrange it in a uniform horizontal row (~2cm from the edge)
  6. Roll and squeeze the mat to create a nice, tight sushi roll
  7. Cut the roll into equal portions
  8. Enjoy with Japanese soy sauce and wasabi!
