
Ingredients
- 1 kampong chicken
- 1 large Onion
- 1 large Carrot
- 1 pc of Ginger (~2 inches)
- 1 large Tomato
- 2 sticks of Celery
- 2 Corn
- 2L of Hot Water
- 3 Potatoes
- Salt to taste
- Spring Onions for garnishing
Steps
- Blanch chicken to rid it of impurities for a clear soup.
- Add all the vegetables except potatoes.
- Bring it to a brisk boil on high, then turn it down to a simmer for minimum of an hour, ideally 2-3 hours.
- Add potatoes in the last 20-30mins.
- Add salt to taste.
- Garnish & serve hot with Jasmine rice or it own.
